Dear friends and colleagues,

At a time when health and science have proven to be the driving force of the world, at IVIRMA we would like to take a step forward to continue sharing findings and knowledge.

Scientific meetings are essential for the development of medicine and ours is no exception. We are therefore delighted to announce the celebration of the 9th IVIRMA International Congress (November 15th-19th, 2021), a virtual scientific event organised with great attention to detail and huge opportunities for all.

The sessions of the scientific program of the IVIRMA Learning Week have been adapted to the new way of e-learning.

One of the main novelties of this meeting is that it will be more inclusive and holistic, as, just like in previous meetings, we will have sections focussing on the works of embryologists, as well as professionals from the fields of psychology and other key collectives which are essential in the management of the infertile patient.

The main focus of these scientific meetings will be debates on up-to-the-minute topics such as the preservation of fertility, non-invasive embryo assessment, immunological treatments, or the importance of the endometrium in reproductive success.

Though the 9th IVIRMA International Congress has been envisaged as a meeting where to learn, it will be a forum not only for the sharing and exchanging of experiences but also for fostering new contacts to allow us to further progress in our speciality. We return virtually, so that success may be on our side, both in our clinics and laboratories.

Our aim is to continue providing top-level reproductive medicine congresses, addressing cutting-edge topics in this continuously evolving field of human reproduction, and doing so counting with the most reputable international speakers worldwide.
